Privacy Policy

Last updated 14 July 2026

The short version. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no social media, and loads nothing from a third-party server — the fonts and images all come from our own domain. The only data that exists is what our hosting provider writes to a standard server log, and whatever you choose to put in an email to us.

Who is responsible

The controller for personal data processed through this website — in the sense of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and comparable laws — is:

Lord Skippy LLC
7901 4th St N, Ste 300
St. Petersburg, FL 33702, United States
info@lordskippy.group
+1 (727) 977-9966

We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to. Questions about privacy go to the address above and are read by a human.

What we collect

1. Server log files

This site is hosted for us by DreamHost, LLC (Los Angeles, California, USA). When your browser requests a page, their web server automatically records a log entry that may contain:

  • your IP address
  • the date and time of the request
  • the page or file requested and the amount of data transferred
  • the HTTP status code and request method
  • your browser's user-agent string and, if sent, the referring page

We do not merge this data with anything else, we do not use it to identify you, and we do not build profiles from it. It exists so the server can be operated and defended against abuse.

Legal basis (GDPR): Art. 6 (1)(f) — our legitimate interest in delivering the site reliably and securely.
Retention: log files are kept only as long as needed for that purpose and are then deleted or overwritten by the hosting provider.
Processor: DreamHost acts as our processor under a data processing agreement.

2. Contacting us

If you write to us by email or call us, we process what you send: your name, your email address or phone number, and the content of your message. We use it to answer you and nothing else. It is never sold, rented or handed to advertisers.

Legal basis (GDPR): Art. 6 (1)(b) where your message relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, otherwise Art. 6 (1)(f) — our legitimate interest in replying to correspondence.
Retention: we keep correspondence for as long as the matter is live, and afterwards only where a statutory retention period requires it.

3. What we do not do

  • No cookies of any kind — so there is nothing to consent to.
  • No analytics, no pixels, no fingerprinting, no A/B testing.
  • No advertising, no ad networks, no retargeting.
  • No content delivery networks, no Google Fonts, no embedded video.
  • No newsletter and no tracked email.
  • No sale or sharing of personal information, ever.

Links to other websites

This site links to websites we do not operate, including verseguide.com. Once you follow such a link, this policy no longer applies — the site you land on has its own. We have no control over what those sites collect.

International transfers

Our company and our web host are located in the United States. If you visit this site from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the data described above is necessarily transmitted to and processed in the United States. Where such a transfer requires a safeguard, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses concluded with our hosting provider.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights. Exercise any of them by writing to info@lordskippy.group — we will respond within the time the law allows, and we will not charge you or treat you differently for asking.

If the GDPR applies to you (EEA / UK)

  • Access to the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
  • Erasure — the "right to be forgotten" (Art. 17)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18)
  • Data portability (Art. 20)
  • Objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time, where processing rests on consent (Art. 7 (3))
  • Complaint to a supervisory authority in your country (Art. 77)

If you are a California resident (CCPA / CPRA)

  • The right to know what personal information we collect and why
  • The right to delete personal information we hold about you
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information
  • The right to opt out of sale or sharing — noting that we do neither
  • The right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and our server is encrypted in transit. No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect what little data we have.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we add anything to this site that changes how data is handled — a contact form, say — we will update this policy and change the date at the top before the change goes live.
